Early access is open

Email that stays out of your way.

UMail is a calm inbox with your own address. Real mail comes first, spam is handled before you see it, and nothing tracks you while you read.

Free to join. One email from us, when your address is ready.

Less noise. Nothing missed.

Most inboxes ask for your attention all day. UMail does the sorting and the guarding, so the email that matters is the email you see.

  • Spam is handled before you see it

Every message is checked on arrival. Junk goes straight to Spam, and one click moves anything back.

  • Nobody watches you read

Remote images and tracking pixels are blocked, so senders cannot tell when, where or how often you open their email.

Your reading is your business.

Many emails carry invisible images that report back when you open them: the time, your device and roughly where you are. UMail shows the message without fetching any of it.

  • Remote images and tracking pixels blocked
  • Scripts in email never run
  • Attachments always download, never open inside the page
  • No ads, and your mail is not used for advertising

Room to grow.

Questions

Something else? Sign in if you already have an address.

When can I get an address?

UMail is in early access. Join the list and we will email you once, when your address is ready.

Can I send email today?

Not yet. Receiving, reading, search, stars, archive and drafts work now. Sending is the next thing we ship.

What will my address look like?

Your name at umail.et, for example hana@umail.et. Short and easy to say out loud.

Do you read my email or show ads?

No. There are no ads in UMail, and your messages are not used for advertising. Spam checks run automatically on our servers.

Is there a phone app?

The web app already works well on phones. Apps for Android and iPhone come later.
